The psychoactive constituent of cannabis, THC, may be the most well known cannabinoid, but there are also acid-containing analogs (THCA, CBDA, and CBGA) that do not have "high inducing" effects. Although the acidic cannabinoids do not induce the familiar "high", they are effective topical applicants and have been shown to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
